The above video was created with the intention of showcasing the feeling of the materials of the Nike Air Max Verse shoe without having the production cost of building and rendering a full 3d model of the shoe itself. I built these custom materials in Adobe Substance Designer then applied them to an animated displaced surface in Maxon Cinema 4D then animated the text and product images in Adobe After effects. Some of the shapes used in the materials were created in Adobe Illustrator then exported as an rgb mask for use in Substance Designer.
The above video was created based off of a design by Thai Morgan. The intention was to bring depth and motion to the design. This was animated in Adobe After Effects. Creative direction from Justin Crabtree.
